Danny and Devin ventured out this evening to homecoming at the Melbourne Auditorium.
It was an extra special night for both of them, as it was Danny’s last homecoming (being a senior), and it was Devin’s time to shine after having been voted the Sophomore Class Homecoming Queen! Congrats to both of you.
Everybody looks good headed out on their first day of school. This is the first time all 3 kids will be attending the same school at the same time.
Devin just got back from her 2 weeks of dance instruction at the American Academy of Ballet in New York. We are all very happy to have her back.
Happy Birthday Derek!
We celebrated Derek’s birthday a little early this year so Devin could be a part of it before leaving for New York.
Sorry for the bad photo, the elusive ‘Derek’ moves around so much his species is very difficult to photograph.
Derek got all dressed up and headed out to Satellite High School today where his 6th Grade Ocean Breeze Elementary Graduation Ceremonies where being held. Congrats Derek!
I rented a Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra this weekend and Derek and I took it for a trip over to Disney. The plan was to stop in a Fort Wilderness to see if it was possible to just drive up and reserve a campsite with first making a reservation. We weren’t going to camp, just wanted to see if it was possible.
We left super early and took some back nice back roads to get there. But when we pulled into the camping area there was a line at the check-in station so we decided not to stop. Instead we went down the road and checked out the Disney’s Osprey Ridge Gold Course since it was right next door, and seemed like a good place to stretch our legs and get ready for the trip back.
The GPS was giving me a hard time, so for some reason I decided to take 192 back through Kissimmee — what a HUGE mistake that was! It was wall to wall traffic, HOT, and we caught every one of the 500 traffic lights. Made it back ok though.
